taking my medicine

Hooked a drive into some trees today, tried going for the green with my next shot, bad move hit the tree in front of me landed closer to me than the green, still in the trees, tried to draw it around the tree with my third....bad move again hit another tree and went deeper in, Par 4 took 8 when will I learn to accept that I should take my medicine .

dont worry Pat we've all been there some time or another when we think "if only i had...." ive taken more than an 8 before on a hole.......plenty of times lol

I also played today in our Seniors Roll-up stableford and got off to a flyer, well, rather more like a jumbo jet, 7 4 7, par, bogey, triple bogey 7 and then another triple bogey 8. So after 7 holes I had seven points and four blobs.

I recovered from then to end up with 34 points overall, so I suppose I must not be too disappointed.

The new 2 wood was worse than my driver, so that will be consigned to the dustbin.

We will have a good knock on Sunday, David. Any spare drivers I can try. All four of mine are useless. Perhaps I ought to retire.

Are we alright for a buggy?
