PAR 4 301YARDS TEE SHOT OUT OUT OF BOUNDS. TREBLE BOGIE
PAR 3 145YARDS TEE SHOT SHORT OF GREEN. BOGIE.
FINISHED 6 OVER...... GUTTED ... BEATEN BY MY MATE WHO WAS 4 OVER WITH FOUR TO PLAY............ NOW WHO WAS IT WHO SAID GOLF IS NOT A MENTAL GAME

Thats pretty gutting, but then thats golf! Was it a case of forward thinking, i.e. "im on for a good round here" and then.......

That round and disaster is now history, Stephen, I am quite sure that when this situation occurs again (and I am sure it will) you will think back to this particular disaster and then concentrate more. The bogie at 15 could happen anytime, but the tee shot into water is what took your momentum away and from being under par you were suddenly over par and disappointed.

Feb 2007 broke 100 for the first time, 99, only had to wait a year to do it again Feb 19th another 99, played today and could'nt believe it when i went round in 92, and its all because i've just tried to play to my handicap rather than try to thrash it round for par, result is i made 5 pars and 1 birdie. perhaps iv'e finally learned something. Of course my golfshake handicap is now 25.6 so thats torn it
