Card Wrecker, Worst hole ever
Took 12 to get out of a bunker on Maldon Golf course once. Only to fly the green and catch the bunker on the other side. The original bunker was approximately my height for 270 degrees in front but i wasnt taking the easy route out back onto the fairway. Hindsight is a wonderful thing
Someone must have had a worse hole than this

How many shots did it take you to get into the bunker in the first place Colin?

Or most of the sand ended up in the second bunker

That is a cracking effort Chris! Did you put it back in the same bunker!? Thats about an average of 11 yards per shot! How did you play after that?

Thanks Chris, i was beginning to wonder if i had truly had the worst cardwrecker ever. You have definately trumped mine firstly because of that tremendous 22 and secondly because my card was already wrecked by the preceeding 10 holes

Not had a card wrecker as bad myself but have seen several others. I saw a friend of mine take 17 shots on a par 5 without visiting a bunker. My weekly partner came to grief last summer though, he had had a good steady round with nothing more than single bogey until the 17th. He needed +1 over the final 2 holes to break 80 for the first time in his life. Decent drive to within 20 yards of the green followed by a shanked wedge into the bunker. 14 shots later he escaped. He's never been the same since and is now absolutely terrified of bunkers. Still can't get out of them in less than 3 no matter how much tuition he has.
