Golf Magazines

If I was to be thinking of a subscription to a golfing magazine, what would you recommend?  What mags do you currently read and what are they good for?

I agree with Alan. I am a magazine junkie but just find all of the current golf offerings pretty lousy. Well under the standard catering for my other interests such as climbing, Biking and Snowboarding. If i had to choose one it would be GolfPunk which has good feature ideas however it is written by complete muppets.

I would like to get hold of a copy of bunker which i think is along the same lines but have never seen one

I have to agree that Todays Golfer is the one for me.  The wife got me a subscription for Christmas.

Tried a few over the last few months.  My views were:

Golf Monthly - Aimed at the stuffy 'members only in the clubhouse' type

Golf Punk - FHM for the golf fraternity.  Couldn't get on with it

Today's Golfer - Good balance, plenty of varied content, remembers that some of us are not 5-10 handicap members.

I get Today's Golfer whenit comes out.

I'll refrain from my actual views as I tend to pick up most publications on sale every month or so including freebies Chris W mentions.

To be fair they all have there niches and target a certain person/golfer.  Today's Golfer probably covers the broadest spectrum of people.

Got me a Todays Golfer and am finding it a good read.  Far more in it of interest than the Golf Monthly I read some of last month.

Thanks for the comments guys.
