Hello everyone, I've been a member of the website for quite awhile now but never posted on the forum. I decided to post mainly in frustration at my best golf playing weekend ! On Saturday me & my partner in the winter league scored 38 points (stableford over 14 holes) only to see 39 points take 1st & 2nd prize & 38 points take 3rd prize, not us though we lost on a card play off ! On the plus side we had already qualified for the final earlier on in the season with a measly 33 points ! I played again yesterday & was level par after 7 holes & completed the 1st 9 in 38 strokes (6 pars, 1 birdie, 1 bogey & 1 double bogey) my 1st & only sub 40 (9 holes) to date. Then I went to pieces on the back 9 (despite parring SI2 for the 1st time in 2 years) & came home in 53 including 2 8s & a 7 ! Just sums golf up my best team & individual performance & still not happy, I suppose that's what keeps us coming back for more !
