Is this forum worth keeping going when there are so many active ones around?

DH, surely you don't need to close down all opposing forums ?

Not at all but this one isn't doing anything, let alone opposing. It should be complementing other forums

Golf Magic is a dead forum, all they talk about on there is ISIS, emigrating to OZ and folks general gripes about 2014 and modern society.
At least golf shake keeps it to golf chatter even if that is a lot less recently.
GM is a huge forum and seems to have all the traffic but it is a difficult site to keep track on as there is so much going on. I wouldn't say this forum needs killing off completely just yet!

I was referring the Rules forum specifically.

DH, I use a US based Forum that has a very active 'Rules' section, but is quiet at the moment. Would you like to see quiz type questions posted regularly?

I agree the forum is currently quiet than previous years for posts/replies but the traffic reading is still in the same and the forum does still serve a valuable purpose.
There are also a number of reasons why the forums are less active part of which will be the rise of quick social media platforms such as Twitter, Whatsapp etc however I am looking to review the forums early in 2015 and make some important updates which should see the forums become more active again.
Regards, Darren.

Thanks Darren. May I make a suggestion. Allow readers to go to the last post in a thread rather than having to start at the beginning each time. Or have I missed something? (most likely).
David I view or post on a number of different rules forums. Some are very active, others less than this.

DH, Forums like The Leith Society will still be very active because it is used by Officials from all over the world. What I have noticed over the years, Forums are active Mon- Fri between 9am and 5pm, telling me many posters are at work and with many companies blocking connections to the internet, it is showing.
