What the club says: The site at Comberton Golf Club is in a beautiful rural setting, near to the town of Pershore, by Bredon Hill.Wonderful golf and gentle exercise in glorious surroundings. A delightful par 60 course with holes to challenge golfers of all standards. The perfect course for a relaxing round after work. Our driving range replicates the golf course in that you push a tee into the ground and hit the ball as if you were on the actual golf course - so no artificial grass, mats or hut's ! We also have a 9 hole practise putting green directly in front of the clubhouse. The very comfortable clubhouse has a licensed bar, cafe and function room.

a challenging day out
We were met by the most friendliest accommodating welcome we have ever had from a golf pro shop! Susie and Kerry went to extraordinary lengths to ensure that we had a great day at Bredon View. The idea was to play 18 holes with a lunch in between the two sets of nine. Kerry made remarkable sandwiches to order, served with Susie's widest smile! This is a venue our group plays once a year. The course is particularly memorable and challenging and we would play more often only we need time to replenish our supply of balls!

we had the course to ourselves
We organised a golf day here. Brilliant! All day golf with impressive lunch menu joyfully served. The course was in amazing condition, fairways well manicured although due for a mow when we were there and the greens were like snooker tables. The rough had been left fallow with butterflies in mind which meant any ball off the fairway was lost. Once we got used to this, it was fine and we no longer spent time looking for lost causes!
So girls in cafe were amazing, greenkeeper was friendly as always; all the club needs is a strimmer!

Quite short front 9, back 9 much longer and allows you to drive more. Greens not in amazing condition when we played.

(Round played: Feb 2015 - Score: 115 Handicap: )The course was played in midwinter under very wet conditions. Much of the course was waterlogged, and the greens very wet and strewn with leaf litter. The bunkers were overgrown, and the whole course very run down - very poor value for money, even at £12 for 18 holes.

The clubhouse has been upgraded and is now a comfortable and welcoming 19th Hole. Staff are always friendly and this is growing as a golf club. The membership of £300 a year is outstanding value.

Lots of trees make it very tricky, but as said before a good test. Leaves are a bit of a problem on the greens, which are the size of a stamp by the way.
