What the club says: Hagley is an 18 hole parkland course of 6376 yards set in the shadow of the picturesque Clent Hills, first laid out in 1980 with nine holes, (now the back nine), with a second nine added in 1984. Both nines return to the clubhouse which makes the facilities readily available.
As the outward nine holes are fairly flat, and the inward nine holes are hilly, the course offers two contrasting halves, and a challenge to all standards of golfer. Our signature hole is the 557 yard 15th. known as "The Monster", but all holes should be played with care, as most have a sting in the tail.

Great Course
The Course condition was brilliant for the end of September with some really challenging holes. Greens were also in great condition with good speed.Hagley Golf Course is set in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside and is well worth a visit and was really impressed.

Lovely looking course shame about some of the pompous members. ?40 for 9 holes seems over the top when there are better courses in the area that you can play 18 holes for less money.Reviewer Rating

Challenging greens that will test your short game
Hagley is a lovely course, well laid out with a friendly membership. I enjoy playing here as it challenges every aspect of my game, more so, my short-game. The greens are like domes, which requires precision on your chipping/approach shots, and even shot puts can undo you. Please don't let that put you off, it's a great course to play. Enjoy the challenge!(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 93 Handicap: 18.1)

Nice course - a game of 2 halves
I've played the course twice now and the 2nd half is excellent with the par 5 15th and 18th are exceptional holes. The pro's are really welcoming, I write my emails to Gareth who is very helpful. The £1 warm up basket in the range before is a really great idea. Also enjoyed the 2nd hole with the water very much in play from the tee shot, and how the 11th green is framed reminiscent of Formby with its pine trees. Totally agree the back nine (par 37 ) is more of a challenge than the front. Only played it in the winter (a few temp greens and many tee mats) so look forward to playing in summer when the (many) trees are in bloom, as there are some obvious pretty tree lined holes to behold. See you in the summer. £19 with a county card is good value.Reviewer Rating

Truly Great Mix Of Holes
This course has it all. A truly great layout that will challenge all levels of golferyet is still playable no matter what level of ability you are. Some short par 4?s some long. The front 9 is the easier 9 both in terms of scoring and walking as it's very flat. From 19 onwards the challenge gets tougher and tighter. 15 ?Monster? is a fantastic par 5 and a new one for me in being the first par 5 I know to be stroke index 1. 18 is a wonderful finishing hole to a great course, a par 5 possibly reachable in 2 but the approach is over the water with the clubhouse behind. Definitely worth a visit!!

Fantastic Morning Golf
we were the first to tee off. Course was in great condition and greens played quite slow due to moist weather. Would definitely recommend to anyone to give it a go.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 98 Handicap: 25.3)

Firm, fast and a great course.
Another first time course for myself. Fairways very firm which highlightedany offline shots. Greens were good but there were some brown patchy areas but a lot of this would be down the recent dry spell.
Bunkers were good, some tees were so hard it was a struggle to
get a tee into but overall given the weather a top course.

Excellent - testing greens.
First time here (played with a member) and thought it was fantastic. A real test, added to to by the testing greens. The greens are fast but almost like upside down saucers. The more you play here the more you will get to know where to aim for on the greens and twists and turns the ball will take when aiming for the hole. The actual course is tree-lined parkland and green and luscious with some great views in certain places. Seems a good atmosphere excellent club house and facilities, friendly members. Hope to play again.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 98 Handicap: 18.2)
