What the club says: Burstwick Country Golf is a newly established golf club in the East Riding of Yorkshire - set in 115 acres of contoured, tranquil countryside. The club was created in August 2004, and has a bright future ahead with much prosperity.
The idea was to create a challenging course with winding fairways and demanding doglegs with well guarded greens. With the experience of Jonathan Gaunt as the architect, we knew the outcome would be fantastic. The club is maturing every step of the way, with trees growing and fairways thickening, and now over 400 members, the future looks promising.

Excellent course and greens
This is a great course with lots of risks and rewards for all levels of golfers. The greens were surprisingly good for the time of year, and the trees and bushes provide enough cover to make it feel like a more secluded setting. The staff at the 19th were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!Reviewer Rating

Another one for the list
Booked a winter 4-ball for £52, which I think is excellent value for money. It was a windy day, but can't hold the club responsible for that! I understand it's a relatively new course, extended from 9 to 18 and in a few years they'll be most holes played where the next fairway will be hidden by trees and bushes. Even now, they provide enough cover to make you feel you're not in an open field. The greens were excellent considering the time of year (Late October) and darn quick. The course provides a number of risk and reward opportunities and is a test for golfers of all abilities. Thoroughly recommended. As was the service at the 19th.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 91 Handicap: 20.3)

Fantastic course
Had great day+game, even will the wind blowing. With the course been young and the tree's not too big, it was easier to find your ball if you hit a miss shot.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 96 Handicap: 28)

We also ended up playing the last 9 -10 holes behind a 5 ball.
I have played the course several times before and is usually very good.
