What the club says: Whilst the Standard Scratch Score for Wyke Green is 69 the course record 65 set by Mr M.R. Johnson in 1984 stood until the Worman Sword in 2009. Mr S.Fallon completed a fine round of 64 in the second round of the Worman Sword. Considering the course has been played by literally tens of thousands of players over the past 83 years including some world class golfers such as Gary Player, Greg Norman and Retief Goosen the course has stood the test of time.

Beautifully Maintained Course
A traditionally run golf club, friendly clubhouse, with much history. The course has well maintained fairways and greens. The greens are lightning fast, each with some challenging contours and levels. Considering its location in the outskirts of South London, it could be easily and wrongly overlooked.Reviewer Rating

Great greens, but too many similar holes
The greens were in fantastic shape fast and very true so highly enjoyable with only the crazy golf 17th being the exception (too much fun!). The layout was disappointing with too many similar par 4 fairly straight, tree lined holes. The front nine is trickier purely down to the lengths. The staff and members were very pleasant.Reviewer Rating

So close to home?
For a club listed as in Greater London this is a gem. Challenging undulations, some tight fairways, and greens that warrant full attention soon focuses the mind away from the neighbouring M4 and train lines that crisscross the layout. Great clubhouse too, a sincere welcome in the Pro Shop, and a great halfway house, single this out as a must play again (and soon!) venue.Reviewer Rating

Truly Brilliant greens
early Nov. Ground. little wet off the fairways & too many leaves to find balls away from them. But they were very good indeed & the greens stunning & pretty quick too(Round played: Nov 2021 - Score: 100 Handicap: 28.5)
