Pleasant, easy woodland course with good greens, but many dog walkers
Pleasant woodland 9 hole course, that plays easy in summer. Good greens and well maintained. Layout a bit tricky especially around third, where you have to cut around the sixth to get to the tee and then the third par tee shot crosses across the sixth fairway. 1st/10th and 7th/16th have very different tee positions. There are a lot of dog walkers crossing throughout the course, some observant but some oblivious of the golfers. Very friendly staff and members and even a celebrity was in the bar.Reviewer Rating

Great Course
Great course - not the greatest but a nice enough layout and a well looked after and super welcoming course. Good value for money and good variance of Par 3', 4, and 5's.Reviewer Rating

Hidden away nice 9 hole
Nice little 9 hole not easy even though it's short tight tree lined green fees too high for a 9 hole course no real practice area or putting clubhouse ok for a beerReviewer Rating

Good local course
A good local course that is easy to access. With 2 different tees for each of the 1st and 9th, 2nd and 10th, etc, amateurs can get to know holes well and aids with improving different parts of your game whilst still feeling you have a different challenge.Lots of walkers around the course which adds an extra challenge but that what happens when a course is closed for 9 weeks due to COVID.
Normally a good clubhouse but couldn't go in this time (understandably)
?13 for twilight round which is very good
Greens are quite fast but maintained very well

Poor Signage
Arrived 15 minutes before a 07:30 tee time that I booked and paid for on line, but the pro shop was closed, nobody in the bar, etc. Spent 10 minutes knocking on doors, pressing the buzzer for the clubhouse, but got nothing. So had to play and use a scorecard I found in my bag from a different course.Signage from one green to the next tee needs to be clearer as can be confusing if (like me) you are unfamiliar with the course.
Despite the issues with finding my way around, the course is actually quite nice.
Greens are lightning quick, so careful with those downhill putts!
