What the club says: A tricky yet very playable golf course that focuses the mind on accuracy and strategic shot making rather than all out power driving. Slick greens in the summer and free draining greens and tees in the winter makes for a course good for all seasons.

Beautiful course
Short for time and exhausted, I played the back 9 (10-18) and really enjoyed it. The course is beautiful. Fantastic condition with a lovely bar terrace. The two par 5's are the 4th and the 9th.
Will certainly play an 18 here when I have the time and energy.

Always a pleasure!
In our annual and ongoing tour of courses played across each season Cranleigh always features. As a group we wait for the autumn “deals” to come in then pounce like yesterday when our Fourball played for less than £68 - a real deal! Course in splendid nick even if the early falls of leaves are beginning. Almost had the course to ourselves so, along with favourable weather conditions, we enjouted a splendid day out on a real Surrey jewel of a course and venue. The 19th hole, an authentic displaced Sussex barn of yore, always rounds the day off memorably.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 90 Handicap: 20.9)

Very enjoyable
Haven't played Cranleigh since the days it was known as ?Fernfell? but as before a lot of course management is required to navigate and successfully get through your round. A feature is the opening par 3 (across and over the access road!) and the challenging par 5 fourth. Enjoyable as always and a gem in terms of memorable holes (for example the 9th and 10th, and the uphill par 3 17th. Will return for sure.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course
Although it’s a short course it’s a very tricky little course with some fantastic and challenging holes.Greens were slow but that could have been due to the rain just before we went out.

Great course worth a look
One of the best Crown courses was immaculate greens very fast with subtle breaks although short in length it is very tricky to plot your way around got a warm welcome from the staff and lunch was good as well .Reviewer Rating
