What the club says: The golf course at Tewkesbury Park sits on the crest of an historically significant hill, site of the 1471 Battle of Tewkesbury with wonderful views of the Cotswolds and Malverns. The 6,579 yards Par 73 course has some classic mature features, impressive greens and testing water hazards. Recently both Peter McEvoy (ex England Amateur champion) and John Clarkin (internationally renowned agronomist) have prepared improvements for the course with the aim of making Tewkesbury Park among the best in the west. Off the course, the resort provides a first-class hotel, outstanding conference facilities, pool, gym, spa treatments and various restaurant options.

The golf course was in great shape with some challenging holes. The pro shop is small but didn't need to use it.
All the staff went were very helpful.
We will definitely play here again.

3 day golf break
I arrange a golf break every year for around 16 people. This year we went to Tewkesbury Park and it was fantastic! The course was is great condition following the extreme heat we have had, and it was a decent challenge for all abilities. What made the trip stand out from other years was the service. Very friendly staff in the pro shop and at reception. Not just friendly but engaging as well which I feel is important, you could have a nice conversation with all staff. A special mention to all the catering staff! The food is excellent, as a relatively young(ish) group we were all apprehensive about the menu but it was amazing food. The service was amazing and again that personal touch when having a chat was there. The staff seemed genuinely interested in what we were doing and helped us plan our final night out in Cheltenham.
I would recommend this venue to anybody.

Great Condition
Had not played the course for some years, and we were very impressed by the green keeping standard, tees, fairways, and greens all imacculate. It rained heavily before we played, but the course drained very well. The layout is welcoming, with some strategically place oaks guarding approaches to greens. Some lovely views, with the Abbey seen from 2 or 3 holes. Staff were welcoming. Would highly recommend this course for any level of player.Reviewer Rating

Great condition but unexciting
First time playing the course and the fairways and greens are in great condition, and are a credit to the club and the greenkeeping team. I enjoyed the course but the open parkland layout with only a few trees, wide fairways and distant rough means it is too forgiving with little jeopardy in most shots and minimal penalty for bad shots.Reviewer Rating

Post lockdown outing
The course looked great, and played well, having previously played it on three occasions. The fairways were unsurprisingly quite soft, which made lofted approach shots very tricky.(Round played: Dec 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 17.8)
