What the club says: Sitting on the shores of the Menai straits, Caernarfon golf course has wonderful panoramic views of the Snowdonia mountain range with equally stunning views of Anglesey and some of its beaches. Although in close proximity to the sea, Caernarfon is a parkland course, with true running greens and lush fairways. Providing a challenge for all skill levels and measured at just over 6000 yards.

A pleasant course and facilities

A pleasant afternoon but in difficult windy conditions. The course a good challenge in the wind and the facilities were good.

Short, but challenging fun in Wales

Not the longest course, but a full 18 holes of fun and challenge - well worth a visit. Recommend two rounds as very helpful to know your way around on certain holes.

Enjoyable course, everyone out of our group of eight managed decent scores in accordance with their relevant handicap (ranging from 4 to 32). Pleasant surroundings, not to busy. Would recommend.

Very unlinks like considering proximity to coast

Surprised by this course as it is so close to the sea and yet is a parkland course. Good mix of holes and some interesting features especially on 18th. Shortish course but very playable. Greens a little on the slow side considering the amount of good weather but overall in good condition.

Coastal parkland gem

Played a round during a visit to the area. The course was in good condition, especially the greens which were quite challenging with lots of sloping areas. Very friendly throughout. We were given a free 18 hole voucher as we'd booked on a day when a discounted rate applied to certain tee times which they didn't have to offer. Would recommend.

Interesting Course

Good views in a great location. Wind is a tough additional challenge. Grenens were being worked on so putting difficult

A friend and I played this course twice and were made to feel most welcome by everyone at the club. Members staff and Golf Professional were all extremely friendly. We were even invited to join in one of their competitions which we thoroughly enjoyed. Considering the weather that we had experienced in the weeks prior to our visit the course was in excellent condition. We both managed scores well under our handicaps which made the days even more enjoyable. Spectacular views over Caernarfon Bay.
