Lovely course which is under threat
Only taking 27 putts shows the quality of these greens...Course in lovely condition and it provides a good challenge for all abilities. Very friendly staff and good facilities. Pity I hear that its threatened with closure to become a housing development..Criminal !!!!(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 20)

One of the best clubs in the district
What a course. I loved it. We played 2 rounds there at the start of May and the condition of the course was unbelievable. The greens needed to be just a touch quicker but that will come with the nice weather when they can cut them back. The greenkeepers should be proud of this course. Can't believe you can play it for ?20. First 4 holes are straight up and down near enough. After that though they start to get really interesting. The Par 3s are enjoyable and nothing over 180yds which is the way par 3s should be. The 18th iff the whites is 470yds and a proper challange to get there in 2. I never managed it. Always left myself with 210/220yds in and it's a tough shot to use a rescue and get it on the green as it protected left and right with bunkers and it's a small green with a massive hedge right behind it. Overall this is a brilliant track., very friendly staff and good food/drink. I wish I and played here earlier, I am moving away from the area in 4 weeks ????Reviewer Rating
