What the club says: The Mount Golf and Country Club most recently has established itself as a testing parkland layout with excellent greens. Good drainage leads to a great course playable throughout the year.

Interesting, flat course in great condition
Pro shop staff very helpful and efficient. Course is very flat, but some challenging holes, with ditches popping up to catch you out. We had a rainy day, but condition of the fairways was good and greens excellent. Thoroughly recommendReviewer Rating

Still a lot of slow play
The course was in quite good condition although stray slightly off the fairways and the rough was very unforgiving. Covid encouraged a lot of people to take up the game which is great but unfortunately etiquette has gone out of the window with these new players and a 4 ball in front of us wouldn't call us through meaning we were kept waiting on the tees on numerous times. Not having played for a few weeks meant that I was glad to be out on the course but this was somewhat spoiled by the slow play. Happens each time I have played this courseReviewer Rating

First round in an age
Not having played for a while found the course a nice challenge, mature well maintained wooded course, a sign pointing you in the direction of the 10th from the 9th green would be a welcome addition.Reviewer Rating

Held up again
This is the fourth time here and every time I have been held up by larger groups of slower players. Unfortunately Covid produced new players who do not know golf etiquette. The course was in good condition and was very good value for a weekend round. Although not particularly challenging, especially if you are a straight hitter. This was my first game for a while and although the course is quite flat I flagged towards the end of the game.. I will probably give the course another chance as it is quite local to me and a midweek round may have more golfers with consideration.Reviewer Rating

Nice course, flat but interesting. Value for money
Like this course. It is quite flat like most others in South Staffordshire but it's interesting to play. At the moment it's also really value for money during the week. £20 for 18 holes and they havea nice little club area too. What's not to like?Reviewer Rating
