What the club says: The Arden course is one of the country's most spectacular challenges and host to a succession of international tournaments, including the 1997-1999 One-2-One British Masters, 2000-2002 English Open and the 2003 British Masters. It also has one of the European Tour's most distinct signature holes in its 18th; a Par 3, 202-yard hole overlooking the fishing lakes and resort.
The Aylesford Course; Golfers of all abilities will find the shorter Aylesford course a varied and enjoyable challenge. Kept to the same high standard as its celebrity sister, both courses offer a good chance that the friendly local deer will wander on to the course in this majestic countryside setting.

Great Course and not an easy play.
Played this on the 5th March 25 and found that it is a long course when damp and muddy in places. The course itself is superb and cannot fault it. Some great holes but not being a long hitter I found a lot of the Par 4s are Driver then 3 wood. Sometimes more. lol. Overall deffo a course you should play if you get the chance. Would I play it again ?. Oh hell yes. lolReviewer Rating

We traveled from Bristol to play today and it was worth every minute, and will return with our society group later in the year.

Poor course
We played the pga course on 30/12/24. The welcome at the pro shop was awful. Would not engage and clear to see they mainly focused onbthe members. \We paid £50 to play and what a waste of money. Geern were in a state with pitch marks all over. The fairways were not cut. I under because of the wet condition but an awful state. I play at a local club which suffers in the wet weather but our club was in a better condition. \I would not recommend this course and will never play it again.Reviewer Rating

Dissapointed
?7.00 for a pint, ?45 for a buggy per round.Aylesford a bit tatty.
Arden wonderful.
However, i will not be retunring, i dont like being ripped off, there is no need for a buggy to cost more than ?25.

Fantastic course
Forest of Arden never fails to deliver, played it many times in 2023 and 2024, you know exactly what you're getting every time. The bunkers are something else, if you're in them, its challenging to get out of them.Reviewer Rating

Good courses but ...
The two courses, especially the Arden, are very good and when we played in very good condition. BUT, pace of play is absolutely horrendous. There are no marshalls out on the course to keep things moving and we often we're waiting for 20+ minutes on holes - sometimes with two other groups. We had a 5 hour round on the Aylesford Course and nearly 6 on the Arden. Completely unacceptable. Would not return.Reviewer Rating
