What the club says: Nestling on the borders of Berkshire and Oxfordshire, near Reading, in the grounds of the historic Mapledurham Estate, lies The Caversham. Boasting a truly challenging Championship Length course of 7265 yards,. The course is fully irrigated throughout the summer months and remains dry during the winter ensuring a fine round all year long. Water and gorse added to the challenge of length ensure a true test of golfing ability and temperament.

Always worth a visit
Great course to play. Well laid out, hazards in all the right places! Tee boxes a bit soggy due to recent weather, but fairways in good condition, and greens excellent. Bunkers well maintained, good quality sand, no gravel stones. Staff excellent.Reviewer Rating

Definitely worth a vist
Not a cheap course to play but very enjoyable. In great condition considering the recent spell of bad weather. Fairways well maintained and close cut enabling the ball to run. The rough not too long so wayward balls could be found, unless buried in the undergrowth. Bunkers had decent sand thatg wasnt compacteded allowing you to play our without breaking wrist! Greens very good but not easy to read. A challenging golf day.Reviewer Rating

The course was fantastic i would love to play there again but in not so hot weather. They had a temporary cabin as clubhouse due to a new one being built and opening very soon.
The greens were perfect.

Once again enjoyed the course although the lack of clubhouse facilities isnt reflected in the price of a round. Greens in good condition, and running fast, although slowed down in the afternoon rain. Bunkers in very good condition and with plenty of sand. Major changes to layout since our last visit have made some challenging approaches. Enjoyable course to play.Reviewer Rating

Brilliant
Under the current conditions the course is brilliant and looks superb. With the dry fairways and beautiful tee boxes and greens. The course continues to improve based on the changes and remains one of the best in the area.Reviewer Rating

Exceptionally well kept golf course
Looked like a lot of money had been spent on the course over the past year and a lot of work has been done as is till being done. Everything was in fantastic condition, greens were incredible. Practice green is brand new, but runs much slower than the greens on the course, so watch out!Well worth the drive from London to come and play.

Fantastic course worth visiting
The changes to the course over the last 12 months have transformed this lovely Heath/Links course into something very special. The introduction of several different tees to allow all handicaps to enjoy there round is, in my view, ground breaking.Given we have only been back playing a few days and the facilities aren't yet open it's a great place to play
