What the club says: Brent Valley is a family friendly club located in the village of Hanwell, West Middlesex County. At just under 5500 yards it is not the longest course in the area, but the combination of water hazards and strategically placed bunkers make this course a challenge for all golfers.

Decent municipal type course
Greens a bit slow and nowhere near championship level but enjoyable enough to play
No par 5s so only par 67 but there are a couple of long par 4s that are hard to hit in regulation
Best avoided at weekends as there are often more than a few hackers that slows things down
Cheap as chips though

fairways: needs cutting shorter, too much cut grass left in chunks and repairing divot marks

Good golf club
This is a good all around the greens can be better.

Great Conditions at Brent Valley

Course is lush, greens are very green. some a little waterlogged. Cheap premium lager in the clubhouse.

Decent course given the price

Course is in decent shape given how cheap it is. Winter membership is well worth it. Greens in terrible condition though, like putting on a winter fairway effectively.

Course OK, but watch for the parking scam!

The course is on the easy side, which is fine for me but experienced golfers may be underwhelmed. The greens and fairways are inconsistently maintained, some weeks they are pretty good but this varies. The big problem for me is the parking. They outsource to a parking company who will slap a hefty fine on you if you're there for more than 2 hours. Supposedly this is advertised but I must have missed it this summer as over a couple of rounds I'd racked up over £500 in fines. Not recommended.

Great value for money

Played in late September and the course was in pretty good condition. Some issues with cracking on the fairways at points, but that is to be expected with the hot summer and then rainy-ish September.

A fairly standard course with no par fives, but two long par fours in succession. Open and generally forgiving but with a few interesting holes in the middle. Not bad at all for £20 midweek.

Very disinterested staff. Course very average until we got lost at the 14th and ended up on neighbouring course, which had very good greens. Most of the course was under water. Not there fault I know. Overall disappointing.

Good municipal course with well maintained fairways and greens. Bunkers are not the best - sand is playground sand.
