What the club says: An 18 hole, 5684 yard, par 69 course, located at Brean Leisure Park, in approximately 100 acres of lush green meadowland. Water features come into play on many of the holes providing formidable hazards to the flat landscape.
The greens are irrigated by a popup sprinkler and since the fairways are cut from meadowland, they remain lush even in drought and are well drained. Hence you'll find the course is seldom closed. Plus, with the course being on the coast, you'll find the fresh winds and breezes add to the challenge of the course!

love this course i play it every time i go to Brean its not long but don't get fooled its got rivers running through the fairways and lakes positioned round the greens on a few holes, it has tight fairways and small slick greens which are not flat you must read in order to keep your card intact. i have played this course through the year and April and May is excellent lush fairways and Excellent fast greens its a must to see.Reviewer Rating

Revisiting an old friend
I used to be a member at Brean, about 10 years ago and returned to see how the club had changed following the construction of the new country club facilities and restaurant. It was absolutely gorgeous day and the course was in great condition but still having some work done around the greens.
I would expect this course to be quite straight forward for a mid to low handicapper, but for a high handicapper like myself, it provided a few notable challenges,
I will definitely return in the summer for a round or two.

Very good golf course not long but plenty of water through the fairways and small lakes positioned round the course, greens had been treated so can't really give a opinion only they was not flat with 2 tiers so in the summer they will be very tricky, it has a lovely clubhouse overlooking the course.Reviewer Rating

Nice course, Low handicappers may want to go 5mins up road to Burnham!
Nice course and layout, decent challenge for mid to high handicappers but guess a low handicapper may find it too easy if that's possible! Short course in scale of things. All in good nick, could do with one or two more signs to help get aroundReviewer Rating

Given the bad weather at least the greens (despite pitch marks) played true and straight.

MUCH IMPROVED
Although played in 50+ mph gales it was still great fun and a tremendous challenge. The course layout is much improved and presents good value. We as a society were very impressed with the new clubhouse, which extended to the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was exceptional quality, none of the deep fried 10p sausages, Good luck to all at Brean and its investors, really trying to raise the bar.Reviewer Rating

Good (hidden!) course
Just a mile north of its more famous neighbour in Burnham and Berrow, a lovely 18 holer which is very flat and uses lateral and horizontal water hazards very well, so although it is quite short be wary of what you are up against!Reviewer Rating

Fantastic to see the new clubhouse development up close. Bigger than expected!
Be wary sat navs currently guide you to the red road entrance. Entry to the club is via the leisure park i.e. splash and play on coast road. You have to pay parking on the gates at weekends but this can be refunded in the pro shop
