What the club says: Bradford Moor Golf Club, located just 2 miles outside of Bradford city centre. It is an excellent choice of course to play as a member or as one of our welcome visitors. Our friendly 9 hole course is maintained to a high standard and the sloping fast greens are a true test of putting skills.

The club's heritage dates back over 100 years to 1906. The course was originally 18 holes, although short by modern standards, only measuring 4182 yards and 3 of the holes had artificial greens.
Almost 50 years later, in 1954, the course was reduced to 9 holes as Bradford City Council took part of the land for educational purposes.

Started at 1.30 pm the weather was excellent but there is a but, being that it was a very blustery, so we have to adjust to these conditions.
Overall the course was in great shape a few trees have been felled in the last few months, it's a bit of a hilly course especially the 7th it's a long clime up.

Bradford moor

I enjoy this 9 hole course as the course is quite hilly so 9 is just enough.

An Oasis in the city

Good testing, 9 holes surrounded by a suburb of Bradford. After such an awfully wet 3 months, the course is recovering fantastically, largely due to the hard work of the green keeping staff and a patient membership. The warmup mat and net area could do with freshening up, but the practice green is large and like all but one green on the course is recovering well. At £9 for 9 holes or £15 for 18 holes Mon - Fri without a member a bargain well worth a visit

Best 9 hole course

A must visit for anyone who plays locally. At only £8 for 9 or £13 for 18 it really is excellent value for money, you will not be disapointed. The course is in fantastic condition.
Long hitters will have the oppurtunity to get close to a few. Good putters will enjoy the quick, true but challenging greens. A fair test of golf for all levels of golfers.

Played 9 holes there this morning. The course was in excellent condition for the time of year although still a little damp underfoot at lower points of the course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were some of the best I have played this year after the dreadful winter weather in this area. £8 for 9 holes was reasonable, believe it was £13 for 18 a very good offer. As with most 9 hole courses those coming off the first 9 created a queue with the new starters. Unable to comment on other facilities as the clubhouse was closed when I arrived just before 9am. Greenkeeper collected my fees. An excellent offer on 7 day membership at this club at the moment, I am tempted to move here from my current club Keighley.

It is a good nine hole golf course which is tight in some areas, gives you good practice for being accurate with you tee shots, greens are kept well, play there winter and summer and various other courses.
