What the club says: The staff at Accrington and District Golf Club pride themselves on the superb condition that they keep their course in all year round. With plenty of tree-lined fairways, dogleg par fours and tricky par threes, this course is a challenge for even the best amateur golfer.

Enjoyed the annual visit to this course very much. A decent challenge but generally forgiving. Greens good, but lots of cambers make them tricky. Will be back next year

Good course but not at it's best
Having played Accrington a few times was looking forward to this latest round. Usual friendly welcome in clubhouse and pro shop. Pre golf breakfast was decent enough at a good price. Practice greens were a bit patchy, things to come maybe. Course was looking a bit scruffy in areas, especially around some greens and a few greens were also a little patchy but still ran okay. Still enjoyed the round and won't put me off returning to play again sometime.Reviewer Rating

Despite the bad score the course was in fabulous condition and i really enjoyed the game its just a shame the game didn't get going this time

Nice parkland course
A nice parkland course, well laid out at the foot of the Pennines.A little up & down, but not too taxing . Not the longest course ever, but you need to think your way round in a few places.
Can't comment on the greens, as hollow tined & heavily sanded, but the member I was with said they are great in the summer.
Overall, a nice course, a friendly welcome & pleasant members, but no holes really stand out in my memory.

Fantastic course worth visiting
Great course with great greens. Everything about this course is wonderful, a great test were you have to think your way around.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 92 Handicap: 16.1)
