The club, based in Kent, has completely undergone a driving range revamp that will feature state-of-the-art TrackMan Technology.

Birchwood Park Golf & Country Club have announced that their modern driving range will be open from Friday 14th May. It will come equipped with 30 bays, all with touch screens that boast TrackMan technology. Moreover, the club will also be revealing their all-new food and beverage facilities to help keep you refreshed during intense practice sessions.

The driving range will be operational from the hours of 11 am and 10 pm daily, resulting in a wide range of time slots to accommodate the everyday golfer. Also introduced are two wood-fire pizza ovens and a grill area that will be serving a selection of drinks and American-style food in sustainable takeaway boxes.

Away from the range, and the club boasts two golf courses. The 18-hole course is a difficult adventure, with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, along with mature sculpted fairways and testing greens. If you’re new to golf, fear not, the club also have a short 9-hole course that is excellent for beginners or more experienced players who want to dial in yardages.

Stephen Norton, General Manager at Birchwood Park & Country Club, said: “we are extremely excited to be able to offer this brand-new, state-of-the-art facility to our members and visitors from the region.

“This vastly upgraded range will allow guests with all levels of golfing ability to enjoy their time with us, whether playing games socially with friends or enjoying a serious practice session. With an array of new food and beverage options also available, we are looking forward to providing the ultimate entertainment experience”.

TrackMan technology is revered within the golf community. 96 of the world’s top 100 golfers rely on this information, and with ground-breaking innovation, they offer the opportunity to play at major championship venues like the Old Course at St. Andrews. Additionally, you can also enjoy challenging friends in game modes, time with the family or simply gapping your distances.

The technology precisely measures each shot, giving information on ball speed, carry distance, launch angle and plenty more minute details. The technology then generates the information on-screen, where the user has instant feedback from the shot they’ve just hit.

Through the use of the free mobile application, users can record all shot data and then review it at a later time, where it is stored in a player’s profile to examine when convenient.

With plenty of golf clubs implementing technology like TrackMan Range or Top Tracer, the boom of golf looks destined to continue.
