What the club says: Normanton - The newly finished 18 Hole Championship course with is breathtaking views over Rutland Water has to be on of the countries finest New Golf Courses - with a yardage of 6816 off the whites and challenging undulating greens it is a good test of skill for the lowest handicapper but remains a friendly pay and play course with a pleasant atmosphere.
Hambleton - The Hambleton Course is Rutland's Premier Par 3 golf course set in fabulous rolling countryside overlooking Rutland Water.

Good course spoilt
The course is quite challenging and very picturesque but all this is spoiled by the pace of play. We were a 4 ball trapped behind several groups of 3s. We gave up after 16 holes because it was going to be nearly 5 hours out there.Reviewer Rating

I really enjoyed my round at Rutland Water Golf Course. The course was a bit more challenging than I was used to but it still offered a great variety of holes and stunning views of Rutland Water. It was a great test of my handicap and I would definitely recommend it to any golfer.

Nice Course and in great condition
Nice Course and in great condition generally. Condition of bunkers was disappointing, very inconsistent.i like the layout, greens take some getting used to due to their undulating surface.

Great course well worth the green fee
One of the best courses i have played. Greens, fairways and bunkers all in great condition. Holes are challenging and very varied but opportunities to score are there. Some great views to be had of Rutland water itself. Couldn't recommend the course enoughReviewer Rating

Beautiful and well maintained course
A super course in great condition with stunning views. Friendly staff and members plus exceptionally reasonable green fees make this a great course to play. All holes present good and varied challenges but it's a fair layout that allows you to score well if you play good shots. A little water in play, well placed bunkers and fast, sloping greens are the main challenges on this superb course.Reviewer Rating
