What the club says: World renowned golf course architect Rees Jones has successfully blended 18 strategically contoured holes into the surrounding countryside.
A relative rarity in Britain, the course has been designed in a modern American parkland style, and specifically as a potential venue for international golf tournaments.

Good course
Course was in excellent condition considering wet weather, however, greens were a touch on the slow side, and some of the bunkers could be improved. Breakfast portion sizes could be improved, but overall an enjoyable experience.Reviewer Rating

One to play
Amazing course. The place is stunning in the summer. Fairways like carpets. Rough really long and deep.Greens weren't as nice as I thought they would be. But they were running true but slow. Pace of play was good. 3 hrs 50 minutes for the round

Great 2 days
We did the 2 round 1 night stay and play, course was in great condition from Tee boxes to the large and varied greens. bunkers a little sparse in places at the bottom but other than that a great course and with the many lakes and the varied t boxes a challenge for all levles.Reviewer Rating

Great once dry
I played this course in March and the fairways were so boggy (heavily plugged on fairways) but the greens and tees were immaculate. I played yesterday and its such a good course. Interesting holes, decent length off the whites, great views. Obviously dried out and for £45 after 4pm its well worth that.Reviewer Rating

Could be very good
The course is lovely and in a great setting but was still very wet. A lot of shots were plugged and the first cut was so long that balls were lost when only a couple feet off of the fairway. Bunkers were solid and compacted with some still holding water. All of which is understandable this time of year but don't charge full price when the course is not up to par.Reviewer Rating

Enjoyable round
Course in good condition with varied holes. Buggies expensive at ?40. Excellent halfway house. Awkward not being able to get buggies up to the car park.Reviewer Rating

Disappointed
Have plated here several times, but latest visit quite disappointing. For a course perceived as on of the best in the area the fairways and bunkers displayed a distinct lack of maintenance. Several of the bunkers towards the end of the course were littered with weeds. Greens were, however, good.Reviewer Rating

Keep clear
Bland and uninteresting, check in was slow and uninspiring. Rooms were ok but they knew w people were sharing but only put enough shower gel and coffee for one. Heating was off and small inefficient fan heater placed in room. Draught beer not available on 3 different ocassions, when back on it was of poor quality and vastly overpriced. Golf course was more swamp like and shouldn’t have been open, greens had been slit (they didn’t tell us) halfway house guy very friendly but again overpriced. I could go on and on but you get the idea. Save your money.Reviewer Rating
