Great course for a round
Exceptional courseGreens were in great condition as was the rest of the course
Rough was tough but fair
Pro shop was very welcoming and helpful
Clubhouse was very comfortble and food and drinks not overly expensive.

This course is definitely a step above the rest I’ve played. It's a classic links course that is always a great test. An excellent links course that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Exceptional venue
Have enjoyed and relished the chance to play this venue on three consecutive days in a tournament. Course conditions were simply superb. Greens true, undulating and challenging. We also enjoyed a superb formal dinner for around 100 guests at the clubhouse. Excellent throughout. Genuinely unable to criticise any of the facilities. If you get the chance - visit . Disappointed
On Monday 20/9 myself and five other golfers played St Anne's Old Links. Lytham. We booked our tee times three months previously. The cost was £85 each for one round of golf. Upon arrival the greens were a disgrace it was like putting on nearby Blackpool beach. After the round I complained to the Course manager who told us it was maintenance week the week before. Why were we not told this upon booking. Every golf club is aware when their maintenance week is during the year, if we had been informed of this we would have not booked to play on this date. Failing that there should have been a reduced rate for the condition of the greens. To compound the visit after playing 18 holes we decided as usual to have a much needed drink after the round. Can you believe the bar was shut ! We were informed that this was due to staffing problems. Won't be visiting again. £85 for 18 sandy greens was out of order. Very disappointed.Reviewer Rating

True test of accuracy
Revisited the course after a 5 year absence and to be honest I'd forgotten how good a course this really is. The greens, fairways & tee boxes were in exceptional condition - welcome and pace of play really good too. As it's predominantly flat, the many bunkers and tight fairways provide a different test to its local 'big name courses'. Add to that the brutal rough and you have a different yet stern test of your golf skills. Well priced compared to local courses too - will be back sooner next time!Reviewer Rating

Truly remarkable venue 5 star
One of my top 5 courses ever played everything about the experience is top class stay straight though its a must my favourite links(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 85 Handicap: 11)

Great course
