What the club says: The undulating 18-hole parkland course, opened in 1973, measures 5912 yards, par 71 & provides a challenge to golfers of all abilities. It is one of the best kept pay and play parkland courses in the North West and is open daily throughout the year from light until dusk. All golfers are welcome.
Each hole has its own unique features. Generally wide fairways do not unduly punish the high handicappers, but even scratch players will do very well to finish under par. Operated by Green Circle Leisure, operators of Allerton Manor Golf Club and Sherdley Park Golf Club.

Really enjoyed it, today!
I haven’t played here since before it got renovated, I liked the back 9 and the improvements/changes they have made. They have done well to keep 6,7, 8 & 9 as they were though, it was always a good little run of holes so well done.It needs more bins and ball cleaners, though. People had dropped litter on the fairways (scruffs leaving vapes) which I can’t blame the course for but more bins may encourage people to stop littering.

Well set out course in very good condition apart from somework needed on some bunkers. With private courses looking in excess of £40 nowadays this is a good value course with excellent catering facilities onsite. Buggy prices also reasonable.Reviewer Rating

Society match play
Course in great condition, greens spot on.Only criticism was the bunkers hadn’t been raked after the heavy rain in the early hour’s making it really difficult playing from them.

Cracking course greens in amazing condition. It was very very busy yesterday first time I’ve ever seen it like that maybe start golfers off on 1 and 10 would help the volume .Reviewer Rating

Feels Unkempt and a bit neglected
A bit of a Disjointed layout, generally poor condition not playing off tees, greens were poor, lots or roped off areas generally scruffy and looked unkempt, only ?18 but not worth that , never really saw anyone ( including any greenkeepers ) , only giving a middle score for facilities as we didn't use any practice facilities or club facilities. No food and drink as it was closed.Reviewer Rating

January Visit
A cold and sunny day seemed ideal for a round of golf but unfortunately the recent weather has taken its toll on the course and in my opinion it should not have been open. Most of the holes were very boggy and made for extremely difficult conditions. A few holes on the back nine were OK due to improved drainage but the rest was poor. In better condition it is a nice courseReviewer Rating
