Lovely course

This course is a lovely place to play. Great greens and a nice layout. Not too many holes that are similar

Fantastic condition despite wet summer. Very welcoming in the very well presented pro shop. New layout is much improved and flows very well. Looking forward to coming back.

Winter Golf

Lots of leaves on the course made it a little difficult to find balls that slipped off the fairway. Some very long holes. All greens except the last were very consistent (the last was quite fast in comparison).

What a turn around...

Congratulations Rhuddlan Golf Club...I have never seen such positive changes at a golf club in such a short period of time.
I have played at Rhuddlan Golf Club as a visitor / society golfer for the best part of 20 years and have always enjoyed it. Its always been a ok / worth a visit course with nice scenery but all of a sudden its become a standout venue for me.
As you enter the gates you straight away realise that they have made big changes and its now far more welcoming than I remember with a stunning pro shop and terrace area for drinks or food. The club have also changed the order you play the holes. I always thought the long walk to the first tee and starting with 2 par fives was a bit strange but now you are welcomed by a fantastic new first tee complex on what was the old 12th, a gentle, risk reward par 4 and you finish on the challenging par 3 18th (formally 15th hole) in front of the pro shop / clubhouse terrace.
After speaking with a very friendly member of staff in the pro shop I'm lead to believe there are some exciting new developments to come too.
If I lived closer I would join today but I will definitely be requesting my society makes more than one visit to Rhuddlan GC each year. Well done to everyone involved at Rhuddlan.

Society Outing - June 2022

Just had our society outing today (19/06/22) at Rhuddlan GC.

From arriving at the club, everyone made us very welcome.

A fantastic full Welsh breakfast started proceedings off very well, followed by a fantastic test of golf.

Some beautiful holes, some testing holes, some with the wind, some against - we had it all today.

However, course was immaculately turned out, great tees, superb and challenging greens.

The weather was unbelievable and we felt as though we could have been playing in Spain or Portugal!

Many thanks to Mr Captain for his nice words at the end and also to Bryan and Tony at The Golf Hub for hosting us and all the ladies in the restaurant & bar for their hospitality.

Cannot recommend Rhuddlan GC enough for a day out or society event and we will definitely be back!

I played the new course layout today with the excellent new first tee and the course was in great condition. The pro is very helpful and the new fitting studio is great. I have recently been fitted for some new irons. Great service.

The course is a new layout since I last played here last year & now flows much better in my opinion with the signature par 3 now the 18th in front on the pro shop & impressive new tee on the new 1st hole (previously 12th hole). The pro was really welcoming & helpful with a fully kitted out shop. There is also an impressive state of the art lesson/fitting studio called The Golf Hub joined to the pro shop. Overall i really enjoyed the round & the new layout, the course was in great condition and always nice to see bunkers with plenty of sand in (although I’d much prefer to stay out of them). Really looking forward to coming back to play again soon & will be back next week for a lesson that I booked with the pro at The Golf Hub.
