What the club says: Situated on the coast in south west Scotland, overlooking the North Channel to Ireland, Portpatrick Dunskey enjoys a temperate climate due to the Gulf Stream and is playable all year round. There are 2 courses, the Dunskey 18-hole, and the Dinvin 9-hole, which are a mixure of rolling moorland and seaside heath, at around 150 feet above sea level.

Portpatrick Golf Course
Absolutely outstanding visit to Portpatrick over two days. The golf on both days was amazing. The staff in the clubhouse could not do enough for us even though they had a very large group of visitors over the two days.Dined in the clubhouse both nights and the food was fantastic.
Will definitely be back again next year.

interesting course
Always an excellent course - played a few times there but havent been back for a few years until last weekend , weather spoiled it a bit rainy at first but relented ..some great holes and views out to the sea excellent ..course in good nick and like I said before some great holes ..one poor hole a small par 3 (99 yds) filler which I hate that maybe colouring my opinion of it but also some great and tricky par 3s so this one is a bit of an outlierReviewer Rating

very good course
this being my local course its nice to see many golfers from all areas coming down to play our course which i must say is in very good condition, thanks to the work that the greenkeeper and his team have put in all their good work and effort to let us play the game all through these trying times. Iwould like nto thank Chris and Stuart for all their good work they have put in to keep the course open.Well done to you all.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 87 Handicap: 11)

Coastal golf at its very best.
Set above the charming village and harbour of Portpatrick this course(The Dunskey) offers a very sporting test of golf. There?s plenty of length if that's your forte but for the connoisseur the four par 3?s are delightful in that they challenge by being just on the acceptable side of quirky. All greens are true and with enough well established wrinkles to keep you squinting for the best line. The course is linksy in character but there?s enough fairway grass under your blades to enhance a good swing. Always nice to have the ball sitting up and smiling at you.
Enjoyment is enhanced by the stunning sea views that surround the course. The drive from the 13th tee must be one of the most stunning in golf.

Fantastic course.
Hospitality & organization shocking, phoned twice before arriving to confirm everything in place for our visit. Arrived on the day to be told no buggies after changing our original tee times to make sure we had them, eventually got some but two members had to walk. After all this aggro was then told the table we had booked for 16 players for food had been cancelled. At no point had we cancelled this & was basically called liars. On confirmation with our organiser she had phoned & confirmed all was ok on the Monday with said golf club. Just a tottally poor run golf club that ruined what would have been a great day golf course could not have been better.Reviewer Rating
