Family run course
Although this is only 9 holes and fairly short it makes you think about about what you are doing. The greens are quite small but have some suttle movements on them when you are putting. you do need to bookReviewer Rating

A friendly family run course with the golfer in mind
Our group play regularly here especially lately when there has been so much rain around. The fairways nevertheless have been cut and the greens kept immaculate while the bacon burgers served with a smile are to die for.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course
I like Newent, nice tight course that is well looked after, the staff was really friendly, and probably the best bacon butty around.Reviewer Rating

even in the wet...
A wild and windy day following overnight rain, a nearby course had persuaded us not to play, saying, "it would be unfair to take you money". However, Newent were welcoming, accommodating trollies and even providing bacon baps for lunch. The course was in great shape, with all greens running true; even the bunkers were playable.Reviewer Rating

A fabulous golf day for the group with a friendly and flexible team.
As always, Maggie and Ian were there to greet us and take our orders for bacon baps. The course was in great shape, with the fairways running beautifully and the greens level and running true.Reviewer Rating

well manicured course
It would be wrong to say that the nicest feature of this club are the bacon butties but it is true because they are truly amazing and coming down the ninth you can take in the aroma of the bacon being grilled. Yet everything else is magnificient. Perfect greens, well cut & defined fairways and the rough is cut beneath the trees -it's very difficult to lose a ball unless hit over a fence or into the famous par 3 pond!Reviewer Rating

service beyond the everyday
Yesterday, in 36 degree heat, our "syndicate" were treated to a golf day at Newent, including extended menu, prizes and a course to die for. The fairways ran and ran, the greens were a lush Wimbledon green and plenty of well sort after shade.Reviewer Rating

the best bacon rolls in Gloucester
Maggie welcomes you so warmly as if she's known you for years; she remembers what sauce you like on your bacon roll and how many sugars in your tea! Ian takes loving care of the greens and it shows year after year.Reviewer Rating
