What the club says: An 18 holes mature parkland with spectacular views over the local Kent & Sussex countryside. At first glance the course, at 6,448 yards off the back tees, looks simple but the subtle slopes and undulations test even the lowest handicapper.

GOLF SOCIETY DAY

Nice clubhouse, and a lovely patio area to enjoy a drink in sunny weather, staff excellent dinner was good. The course not long, challenging but not too difficult. For the first timers a few blind shots, overall condition of course was very good, even if greens slower than putting green. Overall its a lovely course

Very nice.

Greens in superb condition. Fairways getting very heavy and grass being left long on most. Views are spectacular, especially as the trees are starting to change colours. Course is a good challenge. You need to know where the good miss is.

Well balanced course with some lengthy holes. Clever use of the undulating terrain which will test all levels of players.
Played the course on Tuesday, 19 July, with the temperature over 36 degrees C. One criticism was that there was only one water point on the course, and that came late in the round on the 14th hole.
Enjoyed the course and layout, although the heat was a challenge.
There are some sharp doglegs and streams that cross the fairways, and it would be beneficial to know distances to the turns and hazards when teeing off.

Picturesque course

The course was in very good condition and quite busy for the time of day. The greens were the fastest I have ever encountered anywhere, but it was a real challenge. Very enjoyable and definitely worth visiting.

The recent dry weather & the sanded greens + the thick rough made this the toughest course I've played this year. The hard fairways were a joy for the straight long hitters & the low handicappers would have relished the challenges. I can't wait to get back & do better.

Good weather always helps but the course was very enjoyable. Good conditions, interesting holes and a welcoming club house. Plenty of parking and easily found. A nice experience.

Enjoyable twilight round although course was v busy & 4 ball in front never turned around. Greens had been treated & were v v slow which took getting used to. Greens & tees all very close to each other which means no long walks & as quite hilly quite helpful. Sadly no food served after 5pm
