3 rounds in 2 days.dry and sunny . Wonderfully presented and great condition.Greens blemish free ,true smooth roll.Good opening hole, driver then mid iron but if you let the tee shot drift to far right a 4 is going to be unlikely. 2nd ,par 3 .asks you to be a good golfer from tee to hole a great test.as all the par 3s are here.i felt every hole has some merit in the design of the course. 12,13 and 14 is a nice run of holes requiring a bit of thought over power. I will be back next year for the centenary it's a shame I live so far away because it's a little gemReviewer Rating

Lovely course, well kept and friendly
Booked this course after reading some favourable reviews and we weren't disappointed by the quality of the course. Pro was very helpful and friendly and the course was in lovely condition. We had a 9am tee time yet the tee markers were still not out which meant as visitors we had to decide where to tee off from on some holes. A comment from a member about me contravening a headgear rule which was denied by the helpful pro didn't detract from an enjoyable round. We will return for the 36 hole deal at ?35 as that is a bargain. Well worth a visit if you want a challenging course in lovely condition. A tip is phone rather than book online as we could have saved almost half our playing fee if we had.Reviewer Rating
