What the club says: Duff House Royal Golf club is a beautifully manicured parkland course, a feature being the large two tiered “MacKenzie” greens. Its appearance defies its difficulty and its 6043 yards (S.S.S. 70) offers a severe but fair challenge to golfers of all abilities. The basic design remains faithful to the principles of its designer Dr. Alister Mackenzie, who maintained that the ideal golf course should include -
The Course is bounded by the River Deveron, which proves to be a hazard for those who wander off the tee at the 7th, 16th and 17th holes. Practice ground, pitching area and putting green are available to visitors. The professional has a well-stocked shop and private tuition is available by appointment.

Very wet underfoot
The biggest drawback for Duff House is its inability to dry out after rain. It is a pleasant place to knock around but can be a bit 'samey' on the up and down par 4's(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 100 Handicap: 19)

No more 2-4-1
This was my favourite course of all time till the decision to stop half price vouchers and increase the price for a days (2 rounds) golf to more than 10% of annual membership fee. I guess I will never again return to "the best manicured greens in Scotland". No more Duff House food and no more Duff House drink for us. I therefore match my overall rating to my financesReviewer Rating
