Toilets / change rooms - great and clean
Practice facilities - as good as anywhere round here
Course - really very nice. Not just a grip and rip course. Some smart run offs / dog legs etc. Well kept. Greens were a tad slow.

Very pleasant
Played Caldy for the second time - have to say the greens were amazing, credit to the green keepers. Great mix of holes - especially 3-10 alongside the River Dee - friendly club and a nice pint afterwards! Practice facilities also very good.Reviewer Rating

Pleasantly suprised
Played for the first time - lovely course, particularly the front 9 next to the River Dee. Nice mix of holes too and the hospitality was excellent. Worth a trip, the green fees were a bit on the steep side I felt (?80).Reviewer Rating

Attractive layout
Attractive layout - part links, part parkland. Vulnerable to heavy going after lots of rain, but when dry is an enjoyable course with great views across the R Dee to N Wales.Reviewer Rating

Above average
Started the day with a coffee and bacon barm. Best barm and coffee I've had in a long time and set me up nicely for the society comp I was playing in. The wide fairways and flat terrain coupled with the views across the Dee estuary made this a course Ideally suited to an OAP like me. After the game the clubhouse facilities showers changing rooms immaculate. Bar staff very friendly, service impeccable. We will be back as no doubt once the weather improves the course will follow.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 21.3)

Wow
Considering the recent wet weather the course was in fantastic condition. 3 temporary greens due to remedial work, all the greens in great condition. Couple of mats for teas on par 3s. If you want to play winter golf you couldn't play anywhere better. Great views over the estuary. All very welcoming and good reasonably priced food. What more do you want in the winter. Will definitely returning.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: )

A joy to play this links/parkland course.
A delightful course with great views over the Dee estuary to the Welsh hills and Liverpool Bay. A mile up the Dee estuary from Royal Liverpool, a challenge into the wind on the shore-side holes. A mix of good, tight fairways and moderately fast greens. Rough can be penal on some holes, interspersed with gorse and trees. The few water hazards can also catch the unwary.Reviewer Rating
