Improving all the time
I played this course first when it had only been open for twenty years. It has matured and improved in quality dramatically and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it.Course is a parkland and a fair challenge which is very well maintained with some wonderful holes.
The clubhouse is modern and welcoming and the food is excellent.
Driving range is new and full Trackman facility enabled.

Great course
Not played here in years as it is usually over priced but was on for ?20 after 3pm which is a bargain. Great layout , all interesting holes with many hazards to plot your way around. Great condition fairways and rough mostly not too long. Greens had been treated with some stinky fertiliser and also scarified but to be fair they still putted reallly well and am sure will make them even better in the summer . Nice clubhouse and beer selection. Would definitely recommended. Worth ?30-35 any day.Reviewer Rating

much improved
As a member at Hurlston Hall I'm amazed with the progress being made by the new team here. After a difficult couple of years with constant work with no improvement, the new greens staff have made a massive difference. Fairways are looking superb and greens true. Clubhouse is a perfect 19th hole with a warm welcome from friendly staff. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.Reviewer Rating

Great course
I played this course in September last year and although the layout is great with lots of water, the course condition was a little unkept. Having played yesterday, I was very impressed with the improvements. The course presentation was excellent and the greens were great, well worth a visit and would be ideal for a society day out.Reviewer Rating

Poor Condition
Played today after wanting to play this course for a while. Disappointed to say the least. The course has a good layout and potential to be very good, however it was in very poor condition. Granted there has been rain this week and its September but it just seems to have been left alone. Grass is overgrown, tee boxes are shocking (especially the 11th), I've played better municiples. There seems to be some heavy work going on with jcbs etc but surely getting the course cut and maintained should be a priority.I'd be disappointed if I was a member.

Untidy and overgrown
Played today and was bitterly disappointed. Tee boxes were overgrown and the course was generally very untidy throughout. The bar service didn’t help either after waiting over 15 minutes each time to get served and the bar was relatively empty. Recently played Brombrough, Heswall, Helsby and Titherington and they knock spots off here. Definitely won’t be playing here again.Reviewer Rating

Only got through 9 holes
2hrs 40 to get through 9 holes, tee boxes unkempt, greens so slow you could whack a hammer at 5 foot and come up short. Problems with card machine in bar staff were most unhelpful.Reviewer Rating

Total waste of money
Can’t believe I’ve lashed out £65 for such an awful course. Tees were completely bare. Course covered in poorly repaired and unrepaired drainage ditches. Weeds everywhere together with divot patches. No bar service.Reviewer Rating

Just dreadful. Never again
Played this course a few years ago and it was good. However it looks like a giant bomb crater. Bare patches everywhere. Clover taking over. Tees bare. Drainage works left bare. Shockingly low standard and certainly the worst I’ve played in many yearsReviewer Rating
