What the club says: Harewood Downs Golf Club lies on the south side of the Misbourne Valley and dates back to 1907 when it was laid out for the recreational use of members of the House of Commons and the legal establishment. Harewood is a pretty course, well endowed with a rich variety of trees - birch, cypress, ash, maple, plum and cherry - and has some stunning views.

Visitor friendly
Had a great day here at Harwood Downs nicely laid out course in great condition. Hilly and a very good workout.I cannot praise the staff enough as they effortlessly provided a first class visitor experience for my 3 friends and I.

Really pretty traditional parkland course, not long but tricky, with big USGA greens and sculptured bunkers

Superb Course
Harewood downs is currently in fantastic condition,tee boxes are some of the best around,
fairways are in really good condition,
greens were running very true and reasonably quick.
Staff and clubhouse were excellent.

Great Experience

very pretty course
Very pretty challenging golf course.Greens were very quick and true.
My playing collegues found the bunkers a real challenge too get out of.
Pace of play was very good.
Staff were excellent.

Hidden Gem
Beautiful golf course in the Chilterns.Great layout and very testing at times.
Amazing greens and bunkers.
Faiways have all been worked on so will improve given time.
Really nice service in the clubhouse and great food.

Nice course in good condition. Good value given the summer season green fee. Be prepared - this course is an absolute beast to walk it, get a buggy !

Very enjoyable round - felt, in terms of the course, the par 4s and 5s were fairly forgiving such that even if you went slightly left or slightly right you weren't punished too highly which is good for players like me.

Team activity
Second round on the course so not too bad. Greens very fast, but the ladies section is very hospitable and welcoming. The course is by no means easy, lots of slopes, but it is nice to have a course that is challenging.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 95 Handicap: 13.2)

Pretty course

Excellent greens
Very friendly and welcoming club including the pro shop, bar and other members on the course.Greens were really true, not too fast but in great condition. Bunkers also well managed.
The course had suffered from the fairways being scorched earlier in the season. Watering is difficult apparently. Some were a little bare in places so my partner and I agreed not to play off the bare bits in recovery.
