What the club says: Bridgnorth is a picturesque, 18 hole predominantly parkland golf course.
The course is a delight to play, covering varying types of terrain. Some holes are on dry springy turf; some on generally free draining land overlooking the Severn flood plain; while the holes alongside the River Severn are on fertile, silt generated meadowland. All 18 greens have recently been completely re-laid to USGA specifications.

Interesting course
This is a well established interesting course suitable for any level of golf. It is better to play in the summer as this time of year the fairways are very wet and muddy. Some of the holes may not be open but you are advised when booking. The greens are the best in S&H counties. If you expect food after your round you must play in the morning as there is no catering in late afternoon.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course
Fantastic course best in Shropshire. Can be very busy must book in advance. Greens and fairways kept very well. A lot of the rubbish from under trees has been removed and tided up which has speeded up play.Reviewer Rating

A beautifully maintained course.
Super course in a picturesque setting, alongside the river Seven. Tree lined but not too narrow with some challenging holes. The ?flow? could be improved, it an enjoyable round. The staff and members were friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome I would recommend it to anyone of any handicap.

Course is in good order, although the fairways are still recovering from last summer's very hot dry weather. Greens are running true and are the best i've seen this spring so far.

course worth visiting
Course is worth a visit although the fairways will be better in the summer. Lots of trees making the course difficult for high handicappers. First 3 holes by the club house fairways are poor with lots of moss which should be treated. Played on a dry day but if wet these holes could be slippy & dangerous as they are up & down. Rest of the course ok but some holes by the river could be muddy if wet weather. Nice little club house with good food menu.Reviewer Rating
